Miley Cyrus’ latest music video has drawn the ire of the Parent’s Television Council who has slammed it for being too sexy. See it after the jump.
Miley Cyrus' new music video for the dance track "Who Owns My Heart" has been criticized for being too racy. Tim Winters, the head of The Parent’s Television Council, released a statement saying, “It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualized video like this one. It sends messages to her fanbase that are diametrically opposed to everything she has done up to this point. Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fanbase so rapidly.”
In the music video a scantily clad 17-year-old Cyrus is seen showing a lot of leg on the back seat or a car and writhing seductively on a bed. Cyrus' previous music video for the single "Can’t Be Tamed" received similar criticism.
Cyrus turns 18 in November.
What do you think? Is it too sexy?
