Harry Potter star doubles his wealth to £28.5m in just a year

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe’s personal fortune has reached £28.5million, meaning he has almost doubled his wealth in 12 months.

Radcliffe, 21, has overtaken Princes William and Harry, who are each worth £28million.

Companies House records the profits made by Gilmore Jacobs, the firm set up in 2000 by Radcliffe’s parents to manage his assets.

Financial records published last week by Gilmore Jacobs reveal that the actor has current and fixed investments worth £18million.

The records also show more than £8million is due from debtors – thought to be for film work – and he has £3.7million in the bank.

After subtracting money owed to creditors, the actor has £28.5million. Last year his fortune was £15million.

Radcliffe owns three properties in New York worth a totalof £10million and a flat in London.
